A trail for rainy days

Many guests assume rain means staying indoors. The trail is often better in rain: fewer people, deeper moss, and a stream that amplifies the whole mountain.

We suggest the valley route. About forty minutes, gentle, with a stone shelter halfway. The stone is slippery after rain — go slowly.

Take a hand-drawn map from the house before you set out. There is no finish. Turn back wherever you feel like turning back.
